About Nanette Caran

With three decades of publishing experience, Nanette Caran is an accomplished writer who has recently begun writing Christian novels. A mother of two, the Texas author has traveled extensively and attends a small non-denominational church in rural town of under 450 residents. Nanette was born in 1963 in Lodi, California, raised in the Pacific Northwest and is the middle child of four siblings. Her father a retired fisherman, Nanette remembers his rock steady advice. "My father didn’t care if I was the President of the United States, a CEO or a garbage man. Whatever I do, he told me to do it 110 percent," she says. Her mother was a full-time homemaker who took her children to Sunday school and summer bible camp.

Although baptized in a small Baptist church, she became a Back Slider during college and as a young adult. It was the birth of her first son that drew Nanette back to her upbringing and back to God. Married, she spends her time raising strong, godly children and considers them her greatest achievement.
